Happy Fall Ya'll....almost!

Yes I know it's still Summer and still HOT.  However, I'm the kind of person that likes to "will" things to happen.  I am trying so hard to get Autumn here.  It is my absolute favorite season of the year.  Cooler weather that warrants just a light sweater and the beautiful colors that only Fall brings.  Love it, Love it, Love it!  With that in mind, I've started on my Halloween-y stuff.  I have even started to dabble in digitizing designs.  Mainly just sayings, phrases and words.  But it's a start.

Wild Wednesday!

So I've been trying to come up with some ideas to promote items and have fun at the same time.  I'm just not really good at this kind of stuff.  I am always afraid it'll be corny.  But corny can be fun, right?  So I just thought of having Wild Wednesday.  Since I am at home most Wednesdays with my 2 WILD girls, the title is appropriate in more ways than one.  I thought maybe I could offer an item with free shipping or 50% off or something along those lines.  Whatever stikes me...whatever is "Wild" in poker language.  We'll see how that goes.

Monday....again???

Another Monday has snuck up and took away another weekend.  Time to start another work week.  I made some progress this past weekend, however, on some orders.  I got 2 Ladybug Birthday Bibs completed, a Ladybug PaciClip, 2 Monogrammed Burp Cloths, 2 Boutique Bow Beanies, and a new creation.  I received a custom order for a Butterfly Birthday Bib.  She wanted me to make the bib to coordinate with the birthday cake.  She sent me a picture of the cake and here's what I came up with...

I had so much fun designing the bib!  I have decided to list it in my Etsy shop!

Christmas in July

Yes, it's hard to believe that Christmas will be here before we know it. I realized this when I received a couple requests to have some Christmas In July items posted. I have posted a few, so take a look and tell me what you think. I am starting to work on Holiday items already (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas). I think I may post some Halloween items as well (it is just 3 months away).

I plan on having lots of holiday items this year.

Business is Picking Up!

Boy, people are really shopping online right now. My average orders have literally tripled in the past couple months. HOW COOL IS THAT!!! I'm thrilled. I'm busy as all get out but I love it. I appreciate all the referrals that I've been hearing about. That is the best kind of advertising! I love hearing how people like what they receive from me. And I especially love seeing pictures of kiddos wearing my creations. Please continue telling your friends and family about SSB!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

It's gonna be a busy Wednesday! Even though I'm off from my "real job" today, I have tons of orders from my "fun job" to work on. At least I can work in my "jammies" as Ally calls them. The girls also have Old Timey pictures today at daycare. I think their Mimi is going to take them for that. My goal today is to monogram 20 beach towels, make 2 bow beanies, 2 monogrammed ribbon burp cloths, monogram 3 pairs of Fancy Pants, and make another Ladybug Birthday Bib...oh and dinner at some point! Guess I'd better get to it! Hope everyone has a great day!
